However, the jobs feature isn’t the only way to use LinkedIn to find a job. You should also regularly check the home page to see if any of your connections have announced a position at their company, and having a connection will give you a bit leverage at that company, too.



Believe it or not, Facebook can also be a valuable tool for your job search. Companies can now post job listings on their pages, and it’s not uncommon to see a promoted post about open positions while you’re scrolling through your newsfeed. You can also go to the search bar and type, for example, “Jobs in Knoxville, Tennessee,” and you will likely find a few Facebook groups dedicated to sharing open positions in your area.
